Operation Starting Line
This network of national, regional and state ministries and organizations works together to support prisoners, their families and the prison community through evangelism, discipleship and collaboration. Operation Starting Line began as Project Macedonia in North Carolina when Aaron Johnson invited Prison Fellowship to bring revival to the prisons of North Carolina. Since then, more than 700,000 prisoners have been reached through OSL.

Blood Done Sign My Name

Trailer for a February 2010 movie about Ben Chavis' earlier days in the civil rights movement, set in his hometown of Oxford, NC, 1969-1970, a year before the United Church of Christ Commission for Racial Justice sent him to Wilmington to work with Aaron Johnson.

International Civil Rights Center
and Museum

The center opened in Greensboro, NC, on February 1, 2010, the fiftieth anniversary of the first lunch counter sit-in at the Woolworth dime store -- the site of the center, which features the preserved lunch counter. The Greensboro Four's actions sparked sit-ins across the South, including Raleigh, where Aaron Johnson participated.
